Much of Andalucía – Spain’s southernmost region – is home to Europe’s largest area of olive groves. The mountainous landscape from the coast of Málaga through to inland Jaén and Córdoba has been transformed over thousands of years to support the cultivation of what is now the region’s de facto cash crop.
