In 2013 I was given the opportunity to photograph during rehearsals for ‘El Pimiento Verdi’, what became the penultimate work by acclaimed (for his work) director Albert Boadella at Teatros del Canal in Madrid. I spent three months photographing rehearsals for the play, and later behind the scenes and backstage up to (and a little after) the opening night. About sixty of my photographs from the rehearsals were exhibited at the theatre alongside the show throughout its run.
